Divinus Dea , beatus substantia intus mihi
Rector mihi que firmo mihi
Per vestri divinus lux lucis, servo mihi quod redimio mihi
Per vestri divinus vires, EGO scisco vos ut expello malum ut redimio mihi
Is EGO scisco ut EGO ingredior vestri semita

JANUARY http://www.computer.org/portal/cms_docs_computer/computer/homepage/Jan07/Kalendarium.jpg

1. January is the word for the first month of the year in the Gregorian Calendar. The Gregorian Calendar is the most widely used calendar, that which we use everyday. The Gregorian Calendar succeeded the Julian Calendar as it has proved to be more synchronized with the rotation of the earth around the sun.

 >>> The figure on the left side is the front page of a 1582 publication containing Papal edicts and explanations of the Gregorian Calendar. `1582 was the year the Gregorian Calendar was first used.` <<<

>>>If we calculate it, the Gregorian Calendar has been up and running for almost half a millenia. 427 years to be exact. <<<

2. January is one of the 7 months of the Gregorian calendar having 31 days. Take note, January always has 31 days.

3.  January 1, being the first day of the first month of a year is called (guess what!): NEW YEAR’s DAY!. so Cheers!.

4. January = Winter in the Northern Hemisphere (Asia, Europe, North America, bit of South America and 2/3 of Africa) while it is Summer in the Southern Hemisphere (Antarctica, Australia, 1/3 of Africa and most of South America)

Finis
